Restore from downloaded XML file

Hi, I backed up my .tel domain and downloaded the .xml backup file as I was moving providers, however I cannot work out a way to restore this backup. Is there a way to upload the backup file that I have not noticed. Thank you Keith |

My apologies, it is not an XML file it is a .bak file. I used your system to create a backup and downloaded it, I now want to be able to upload that backup file to be able to restore it. (I had problems transfering registrars, and cleared everything related to the domain including this account so I could not keep the online backup, hence the reason I downloaded it) |

Now i have implemented an funktion for uploading Backups. Bu TEL-Machien dont usw XML format for the backups So if you get the following message "The uploaded file is not an backup of TEL-Machine or is damaged." Your Backup is realy XML and not from Tel-Machine. The please uplaod it here http://www.rapidshare.com/ and tel me the Link. |

Hi I found the link on the site and uploaded/restored my tel domain. Thank you very much for your help - an excellent web site. Two points for you: 1. I don't think the backup restored any private data I had in the profile, I am not worried about this as they are the easy parts for me to manually add, but I thought you may be interested in knowing! 2. Several parts of your site are not in real English, would you like informing of them or do is there a way I can get a copy of the resource to convert them for you? Hi, yes i know that the privat data will lost. ecouse it takes many work to build this and makes big problems by restoring the data from one domain to an other (sync domain function) Yes iam realy interested to know what is not in english. We like to improve the page as much as we can. But at the moment we only become feedback in german. I will b e glad for some english feedback. I could send you the .tpl Files but for this you should speak HTML and have dealt with a TemplateEngine (smarty) But you can tel me all Failer you can find. |

Hi, I work on the UI part of a J2EE search engine, so reading/writting HTML is not a problem. I will send you a PM with my email address incase you decide to go down that route, otherwise I will build up a list of quirks that I find. Cheers Keith |

Ok thanks for you help: here the Templates: http://www.tel-machine.com//datein/tpls/templates_16.sep.09.zip i hope you will understand this. Some variable and template names are in German. But most time you see in the url the name of the template. The private message function i have also repaired. if you have an other improvements ore ideas for tel-machine, let me know it. |
